Samsung Announces One UI 7 Update for More Galaxy Devices, Including 2021 Models

Samsung has officially expanded the list of Galaxy devices set to receive the One UI 7 update.  A recent press release from Samsung Singapore confirms that several older models will also be eligible for the latest software upgrade.

 Initially, it was expected that only the latest models, including the Galaxy S24 and S23 series, Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and the Galaxy Tab S10 lineup, would receive the update.  However, Samsung has now included devices dating back to 2021, offering extended software support to a wider range of users.

List of Galaxy Devices Receiving One UI 7

While this is not the final list, here are some of the confirmed devices set to receive the update:

Galaxy S Series:

1. Galaxy S24 Series (S24, S24+, S24 Ultra)

2. Galaxy S24 FE

3. Galaxy S23 Series (S23, S23+, S23 Ultra)

4. Galaxy S23 FE

5. Galaxy S22 Series (S22, S22+, S22 Ultra)

6. Galaxy S21 Series (S21, S21+, S21 Ultra)

7. Galaxy S21 FE

Galaxy Z Fold and Flip Series:

1. Galaxy Z Fold6 / Z Flip6

2. Galaxy Z Fold5 / Z Flip5

3. Galaxy Z Fold4 / Z Flip4

4. Galaxy Z Fold3 / Z Flip3

Galaxy Tab Series:

1. Galaxy Tab S10+ / Tab S10 Ultra

2. Galaxy Tab S9 Series (Tab S9, Tab S9+, Tab S9 Ultra)

3. Galaxy Tab S9 FE / Tab S9 FE+

4. Galaxy Tab S8 Series (Tab S8, Tab S8+, Tab S8 Ultra)

5. Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) (Possibly Tab S6 Lite 2022 as well)

Samsung has not made it clear if the update would include the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022). The 2020 version has completed its upgrade cycle with Android 13 and is unlikely to receive any more updates, despite the fact that the 2024 model has been confirmed.

Additional Devices and Expected Updates

It's also anticipated that Samsung would add One UI 7 to a number of Galaxy A series devices. An official announcement on those models has not yet been made, though.

One UI 7 Rollout Schedule

Samsung has not provided a specific global timeline for the rollout. However, according to the press release:

• Updates will begin on April 7 in some regions.

• Certain areas will receive the update on April 10.

• Singapore’s rollout is expected to start on April 14.

With the new One UI 7 version, users may anticipate improved performance and additional functionality. Keep checking back for updates on other qualifying devices and precise release dates.
